A while ago my sister and her friend transported and set up a new TV for me and all the friend asked for is a crochet Liquid Soap Spitting Duck. He saw it at my sisters house because I made one for my nephew last May.
I found the pattern on Ravelry it´s called “duck-soap-or-lotion-pump-cover by Karen Zakaria”. She sells the pattern in her etsy shop and she has a blog where she shows her creations (http://balatong-balatong.blogspot.com/).
She made a lot of different variations of lotion toppers. For example penguins, a turkey, chickens and angry birds. They all look great and funny :).
Isn´t it a great idea to crochet some of these lotion toppers and put them on the soap pumps at friends places. Not to tell anyone and just wait for the reactions. “LOL” I think that´s kind of funny…
To Paul: Sorry that it took so long… But your ducky is ready now and is waiting for you at my sisters house :) and thanks again for your help.
This is the one I made for my nephew and she mentioned it in her blog: http://balatong-balatong.blogspot.com/2011/05/so-flattered.html
