Banju Cushion

A while ago I saw a crochet cushion on the internet that really inspired me. I found the pattern and bought it so I could make my own version of the pretty thing ♥

And here is what I made of it. It was really fun to embroider it here is a closeup of the front of the cushion. Take a look 🙂 . What do you think?

Little Candy Trees

Here’s another cute little pattern. It’s great for using scraps and it´s easy and quick to make.

You can crochet a whole little charmed forrest for yourself or your children. They would look great hung up on a christmas tree to. Yes, I know christmas is far away but at least you would have crochet enough little candy trees to decorate the wole room by then  🙂

Summery Treasure Bag, FLOWERS and BEES

I bought a new pattern today. Actually I don´t have time for any crochet at the moment but I just couldn´t resist.

The pattern contains some super cute creatures 🙂 and they where so easy and quick to make. I love them ♥.  There´s also a little drawstring bag in the pattern where you can sew the little tresures to. But I will make that some time later….

Pretty Spring Birdy

The left bird is chrochet with a 4mm Hook and Schachnmayr nomotta bravo.
It measures 19,5 cm from head to tip of tail and 16 cm from wing to leaf.
The right bird is crochet with a 2mm Hook and some leftofer scrapyarn. It measures 12,5 cm from head to tip of tail and 9,5 cm from wing to leaf.
This pattern is great for using all your scrap yarn. You can use the birdy as application or hanger. It looks pretty with or without the branch.

Waiting for Spring…

I´m so fed up with this cold, wet and dark weather. I can´t wait to see the sun again and nature coming back to life. I WANT SPRING!!!

I found this absolut beautiful wall hanging on Lucys Blog (Attic24). She named it: Happy Flower Decoration.

When I saw it this morning I decided to make one to attract Spring. So maybe it will come sooner ;o)

This is my version and I call it: WAITING FOR SPRING

 

Floral Fantasy Valentine Heart by Cheri Mancini

Last year in february I found pictures of an awesome crochet heart on flickr and fell in love straight away. LaceCrochet designed them herself. I kept going back to her pictures to awww and ohhhh about the little beauties… I have to show them to you: Designed and crochet by Cheri Mancini

And then a few days ago I couldn´t beliebe my eyes… She wrote a pattern for them and uploaded it to http://www.ravelry.com/. And she offers the pattern for FREE. Yes, it´s unbelievable, isn´t it?

I was so happy and had to try it straight away. I never tried the bullion or roll stitch before so it was a bit difficult for me to make these. But with a little practice I´m getting better and made two little hearts that I can show you:

Der Stern auf dem Bild wurde mit Schachenmayr nomotta Bravo und einer 4mm Häkelnadel gearbeitet. Er misst 12,5 cm. Wenn Sie gerne einen kleineren Stern hätten verwenden Sie einfach dünneres Garn und die passende Nadel (z.B. eine 2mm Häkelnadel).

st (stitch/es), ch (chain), slst (slip stitch), sc (single crochet), lsc (long single crochet) hdc (half double crochet), dc (double crochet), trc (treble crochet), dtr (double treble crochet)

The star shown in the picture is crochet with Schachenmayr nomotta Bravo and a 4mm Hook. It measures 12,5 cm = 4,92 inches. If you want to make a smaller star just use a smaller Hook and matching yarn (for example a 2mm Hook).

Crochet Christmas Trees Pattern

Christmas is not far away but you still have time to crochet some little gifts or decorations for your home.

What about a nice little christmas tree or two?  You could embellish the trees with whatever you like. Use beads, buttons, ribbons, felt circles, stars or other things that come to your mind…

If you want to make smaller trees just use a smaller Hook and matching yarn (for example a 2mm Hook).
