I became an aunt again 🙂

On 29.08.2012 my little niece ♥ Mia Dorothea ♥ was Born ♥ 2750 gramms and  48cm ♥

and because I wish the sun will always shine for her I crochet a big sun for her to hang over her bed. Here it is:

Foto-Tutorial for the Daisy Hexagon Pattern

Standard
  1. Yellow: ch2, 6sc in 1st ch, close rd in top of ch2 (6sc)
  2. ch2, hdc in next 5 sc, close Rd with slst in top of ch2, FO and sew in ends (6hdc) [Before you close the Rd it will look like there are stitches missing, but there are not. If you close the Rd it will form a little “cone” shape]
  3. White: attach in any hdc, sc in same, in same hdc: (ch3, 3trc, ch3, sc in next hdc) repeat 5 more times, only last round instead of last sc: slst in first sc, FO and sew in ends (6petals)
  4. Green: attach in top of any middle trc, sc in same, sc in next, (ch2, trc in sc of Rd 3, ch 2, sc in all 3 trc) repeat all around, close Rd with slst in top of first sc
  5. ch3, dc in next, (3dc in ch2 space, ch2, 3dc in next ch2 space, dc in next 3sc) repeat all around, close Rd with slst in top of ch3, FO and sew in ends.

Sunburst Granny Hearts: free pattern by Bunny Mummy

I found this nice Sunburst Granny Hearts pattern by Bunny Mummy while I was surfing on the net.

I tried it straight away and it was easy to follow and crochet in no time. I only added the outer edge to it (sc, ch2, all around it).

Here is my version of the heart:

Banju Cushion

A while ago I saw a crochet cushion on the internet that really inspired me. I found the pattern and bought it so I could make my own version of the pretty thing ♥

And here is what I made of it. It was really fun to embroider it here is a closeup of the front of the cushion. Take a look 🙂 . What do you think?

Little Candy Trees

Here’s another cute little pattern. It’s great for using scraps and it´s easy and quick to make.

You can crochet a whole little charmed forrest for yourself or your children. They would look great hung up on a christmas tree to. Yes, I know christmas is far away but at least you would have crochet enough little candy trees to decorate the wole room by then  🙂
